The volume of retail trade in January-October 2021 amounted to 5,980,437 thousand tenge. The physical volume index compared to the corresponding period last year was 108.0%. Of the total volume of retail trade, the share of trade in food products amounted to 4,427,864 thousand tenge, non-food products 1,552,573 thousand tenge (the index of physical volume compared to the corresponding period last year is 104.5% and 84.2%, respectively). The main share of sales (94.6%) is accounted for by the turnover of individuals engaged in individual entrepreneurial activity. According to the size of enterprises, the turnover of small enterprises is 5,866,353 thousand tenge (98.1% of the total volume), large 114,084 thousand tenge (1.9% of the total volume).
