Industrial output volume
The volume of industrial production in January – February 2021 in the city of Kurchatov amounted to 749.2 million tenge with an increase of 283 million tenge compared to the same period last year, the growth rate – 160.7%, the index of physical volume – 129.8%.
The mining industry produced products in the amount of 385.9 million tenge, with an increase of 184.1 million tenge compared to the same period last year, the growth rate – 1.9 times, the index of physical volume – 129.4.
The volume of manufacturing industry production amounted to 82.2 million tenge with an increase of 3.6 million tenge compared to the same period in 2020, the growth rate– 104.6%, IFI – 114.5%. The manufacturing industry of the city is represented by light, chemical industry and mechanical engineering.
