Profession of a lifeguard!

Profession of a lifeguard!

Each of us should make an informed choice of our profession. And true professionals are always at a premium! One of the brave professions, where there is both heroics and extreme – lifeguard.
The demand for the rescue profession in our country is quite high. A lifeguard is a civil protection officer who is the first to come to people's aid in floods, fires, natural disasters, accidents and, if necessary, provide medical services to victims. These fearless specialists save lives in extreme conditions.
Rescuers are ready to help 24 hours a day anywhere in the country. They arrive at the scene of terrorist attacks, natural disasters and catastrophes in a matter of minutes. Professionals are able to instantly assess the situation and the scale of the tragedy. In a short period of time, they organize the evacuation of people, provide first aid, and carefully remove the injured from the rubble. Rescuers are doing everything possible to eliminate the consequences of various disasters as quickly as possible.
But rescuers work not only in places of global disasters and large-scale tragedies. They are caused by people who are in trouble and cannot solve the problem on their own. For example, rescuers leave if someone needs to get out of a reservoir, remove from the roof, rescue from a trap, help with poisoning with harmful substances, etc.
The peculiarity of the profession "lifeguard" is that these specialists can work not only in the city, but also outside it. They rescue people lost in the forest, find skiers in the mountains after an avalanche, get drowning people out of rivers and lakes, help fishermen who find themselves on broken ice floes, etc.
Our Republic has the only UNIVERSITY that trains rescuers. This is the Kokshetau technical Institute of the emergency situations Committee, which is a departmental educational institution of the Ministry of internal Affairs.
Training of cadets is carried out at the expense of the national budget.
Cadets are provided with free uniforms, meals and state scholarships for the entire period of training.
For persons who have completed a full course of full-time training at the Institute, namely-4 years, the training time is equal to the passage of military service. Graduates are awarded the title "Lieutenant of civil protection" and sent to the territorial bodies Of the Committee on emergency situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan for further service.
