Protect the forest from fire

Since the beginning of the summer season, the danger of fires in the forests and in the steppe has increased. Residents of the district are increasingly leaving for recreation in the forests. In this regard, it is necessary to strictly observe fire safety measures. But sometimes we forget to protect ourselves from various natural disasters and emergencies.

Fire is the "main enemy" that quickly destroys the forest. The human factor is one of the most common causes of forest fires.

If we prevent a fire in time or even prevent it at all, if we follow the fire safety rules correctly, we will make a great contribution to the protection of the environment.

Let's look at the main ways to extinguish forest fires:

- Gorenje should be approached from the windward side, so that the wind blows in the back, at a distance of at least the minimum length of the fire extinguisher jet (if available);

- if the fire occurred in an open area, then the fire should be extinguished from the front side of the fire;

- the burning wall is extinguished from the bottom up.

In the forest, grass-roots fires need to be extinguished quickly, because if the fire spreads to the tree, it will become much more difficult to extinguish the fire. When extinguishing forest and steppe fires, you must strictly observe the basic safety rules.
