On February 17, 2020, an emergency flood control exercise was held. After that, the head of the SFN area Abdulhamit Otunbaev gave introductory teachings, according to which in the village Kalbatau near the bridge at the intersection of Kalmataeva and Keldenov as a result of intensive melting of snow occurred overflow of water on the river Xanim, and in this connection it should be coast protection works, pumping water, cleaning of culverts and other events according to a plan of liquidation of emergency situations. During the exercise, the interaction of emergency services to eliminate the flood was worked out.
