Appeal of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Appeal of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan

DEAR VOTERS!

On November 20, 2022, early elections of the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be held.

The key to exercising the constitutional right to participate in elections is your inclusion in the voter list.

Lists are drawn up by local executive bodies (akimats) on the basis of permanent registration at the place of residence on the territory of a specific voting site. Citizens who do not have permanent registration are included in the lists on the basis of an application submitted to the akimats at their location.

Every citizen who cannot come to the polling station at the place of registration on the day of voting, one month before the voting day, that is, no later than October 20, 2022, has the right to apply to the relevant akimat and register at the polling station at their actual location.

Upon receipt of the application, the akimat organizes the exclusion of a citizen from the list of voters at the place of registration and its inclusion in the list of the voting precinct.

This right:

- citizens who know that the voting date will not be at the place of registration;

- students from another city, studying in secondary and higher educational institutions, living outside dormitories;

- citizens working on a rotational basis can use it.

A citizen is included in only one list of voters. You can check whether you are included in the voter list at the place of registration on the website of the relevant akimat or through the Call center.

From November 4, 2022, you will be given the opportunity to check your data on the voter list in your precinct.

Dear voters!

We invite you to show legal literacy and realize your constitutional right to participate in the elections!

Take timely legal action necessary to put yourself on the voter list!
