The Ministry of health of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted a set of measures to prevent the import and spread of coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan

Currently, no cases of the disease have been registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

19,990 people were examined at checkpoints across the state border with China (starting from January 6, 2020):

One passenger was identified with an elevated body temperature and signs of SARS among those who arrived from China on 28.01.2020, and was hospitalized in the infectious diseases hospital of Nur-Sultan. Work continues to monitor arrivals at the place of residence by medical organizations.

Medical organizations of the Republic of China conduct medical supervision for persons arriving from the PRC within 14 days at the place of attachment.

When symptoms of the disease appear, hospitalization is carried out in infectious hospitals, where a set of diagnostic procedures is performed.

In particular, a Republican staff of experts on the epidemic situation has been created.

Local health authorities have ensured that infectious diseases hospitals are ready to receive patients and deploy additional beds in other hospitals. Theoretical and practical training of medical workers was also carried out.

A list of medicines and medical devices for the non-reduced stock in medical organizations has been prepared.
