PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT

on the implementation of the plan for the development of reading literacy

within the framework of the project "Reading together" among the organizations of preschool education and training of the Abai region

 According to the plan of the KSU "Regional Innovation and Methodological Center" of the Department of Education of the Abai region, on January 20, 2023, the regional methodological hour "Reading together" was held online for preschool organizations.

The goal of the methodical hour:familiarization of the participants with the new project, with the experience of the activities of preschool organizations of Semey Mini center "Bakyt" LLP, KGKP Nursery garden No. 10 "Balbulak", Kindergarten "Orleu" LLP. Methodologists of preschool organizations Masalimova M.A., Slobodnyakova S.M., Zhetpisova G.T. told about the results of the work done within the framework of this project in their institutions.

In the implementation of this project, it is planned to create book corners, bookcrossings, mobile libraries in kindergartens, develop mutual cooperation with libraries of educational organizations, the parent community, provide children's literature, conduct activities to form reading interest among teachers, children and their parents, strengthen the material and technical base.

Expected result of the project implementation:

Increasing the interest of reading activity of children, teachers and parents;
Development of cultural and reading competence of teachers;
Reviving the traditions of home reading, generalization and dissemination of the experience of family education to introduce children to reading.
