Startup Orda

On December 1, the regional stage of startups of the international technopark IT - Astana Hub was held in Semey IT Valey. Schoolchildren, college and university students took part in the project fair.
The purpose of the event is to support and encourage start-up IT startups, popularize startup culture in the country, and identify the best IT ideas for further development of digitalization in the regions of Kazakhstan. The winners are selected by a centralized expert commission from Astana consisting of representatives of Astana Hub, the organizers of the competition and existing entrepreneurs. The selection of applications for participation in the competition took place from November 7 to November 25 on the Startup Orda, Astana Hub websites and on official social media accounts. Registration for participation in the program in the regions is free of charge, where all interested persons starting their startup project in the field of IT can finally present an idea or a ready-made product to investors.
The Startup Orda program was created on the basis of global trends and the importance of the development of IT technologies around the world, and is also an instruction within the framework of the address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 1, 2021, in which he noted that Kazakhstan should become a digital hub, as well as train at least 100,000 specialists in this field.
