Results of the Republican Olympiad in Linguistics
for students of grades 8 – 11
The Republican Olympiad in Linguistics was held on November 24, 2022.
The purpose of the Olympiad is to identify, develop and support gifted students of the Republic of Kazakhstan, improve and deepen students' knowledge of applied linguistics.
The Olympiad is held in three rounds. 314 students of the Abai region with excellent knowledge of mathematics and languages (Kazakh, Russian, English) took part in the first (district) round. 14 students participated in the second round. 2 students passed the republican stage and showed the following results:
1st place – Omarkhanova Zinara, a student of the 10th grade of KSU "SOSH im.Naimanbayeva", Urdzhar district.
3rd place – Mubarak Marzhan, 8th grade student of KSU "Georgievskaya SOSH", Zharminsky district.
