The regional competition was attended by 8-10 classes of public educational schools, dedicated to the creation of the Cabinet of Zhumadilova "Sulu Soz, genius of artistic thought"

In accordance with the work plan of the scientific and methodological centers for the development of giftedness and additional education "Daryn" of the Department of Education of the Abai region and East Kazakhstan region, a regional competition was held for the first time among students of grades 8-10 of secondary schools "Sulu soz, korkem oidyn kemengeri", dedicated to the work of Kabdesh Zhumadilov.

The competition was held in order to study the spiritual heritage of the writer, his life and work, to introduce students to the study of literature, to identify talented young people, to support them.

The sponsors of the contest are the Askar Zhakulin and Kabdesh Zhumadilov Foundations, which support gifted children of the region.

The competition was held in two categories:

1. Nomination "Talent born of history" - writing an essay about the work of Kabdesh Zhumadilov.

2. Nomination "K. Zhumadilov is a writer who has made a significant contribution to the artistic word of the Kazakhs, especially in the historical genre"– reciting excerpts from the writer's works by heart.

A meeting was also organized with the writer's son, Professor Zhumadilov Arman Kabdeshevich.

Following the results of two nominations, 11 participants were awarded diplomas of the first degree, 15 – Diplomas of the second degree, 19 – Diplomas of the third degree.

Among 45 prize-winners, 24 from the Abai region:

The winners were awarded diplomas and cash certificates, all participants received certificates and gifts (books by K. Zhumadilov).
