All electrical installations must be protected by devices that protect them from short circuits and other incorrect modes that lead to fire and combustion. The actual current of the fuse mixtures must be indicated on the marking and calibrated (the marking is applied by the manufacturer or an electrical laboratory).
Work on connecting, branching and joining wires and cables must be carried out using welding, taking into account the fire hazard.
It is prohibited to operate and install overhead power transmission lines (including temporary ones and those laid with cables) under flammable covering, roofs, as well as open warehouses (stacks, seams) for storing flammable substances, materials and products.
It is prohibited when operating electrical installations:
* Use faulty sockets, switches, other electrical installation products;
* Use non-standard (home-made) electric heaters, use home-made devices that protect against short circuits and excess weight;
* Wrap electric lamps and light fittings in paper, fabric or other flammable materials, as well as use of lamps provided for by the design without caps;
* It is prohibited to use electric irons, stoves, kettles and other heating devices that do not have a support and heat-protective unit made of non-flammable heat-insulating material that eliminates the fire hazard.
* Use electric heating devices that do not have or have faulty thermostats provided for by the design;
* It is prohibited to use electric heating devices in all explosion- and fire-hazardous places.
Fire safety requirements for the heating system:
Before the start of the heating season, stoves, other heating devices and systems must be repaired and checked. * The construction of the stove and the installation of the chimney must be carried out by a graduated stove-maker, and also have a special stove builder's certificate.
* Place the stoves near internal walls and shields built from non-combustible materials.
* Let each stove have a separate chimney and a pipe that produces a separate chimney.
* Vertical and horizontal stove structures must be made at a distance of at least 50 cm from burning structures.
* Do not allow smoke to escape into the ventilation ducts.
* The height of the chimney must be at least 50 cm from the roof, the distance from the roof to the chimney must be up to 1.5 m 3 m.
* In front of the door of the wood-burning stove there must be a tin surface measuring 50 * 70 cm.
* The distance from the chimney to the roof trees and other roofing parts is at least 130 mm.
It is prohibited to operate faulty stoves and other heating equipment. When supplying heat through the stove:
- placing flammable substances and materials and fuel in tin in front of the stove;
- using gasoline, kerosene, diesel lubricants and other flammable and flammable liquids to light the stoves;
- drying and placing fuel, clothing and flammable substances and materials in the stove;
- it is prohibited to overheat the oven.
It is necessary to whitewash the chimneys and walls along which the smoke channels pass in the attic.
