On the consideration of impact screening

In accordance with paragraph 6 of Article 55 of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the following documents (hereinafter referred to as SEA materials) were submitted to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan for conducting a strategic environmental assessment:

- Report on the screening of the impact of the Document - "Master Plan of the City of Ayagoz, Ayagoz District of the Abay Region. Adjustment".

Developer of SEA materials: Limited Liability Partnership "Project Institute "Kazgiprograd"1.

Customer of SEA materials: State Institution "Department of Architecture, Urban Planning and Construction of the Ayagoz District of the Abay Region"

Responsible for the development of SEA: Zaridze Zh.G.

Authorized body for issuing opinions on SEA materials: Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan

We invite the public (all citizens and legal entities) to express their comments and suggestions on the following issues:

Can the implementation of the Project have significant impacts on the environment, and if so, what are these impacts and why do you consider them significant?
What impacts on the environment and public health need to be studied before approving the Project and why?
Do you consider it necessary to conduct an SEA? What information are you interested in and why?
Do you have any other comments and suggestions related to the possible impacts of the Project on the environment and public health?

Validity period of the strategic document:

- first stage of construction - 2032;

- estimated period                           - 2040

Term of the procedure for receiving comments and suggestions: from January 31 to February 13, 2025 (last day for receiving comments and suggestions - February 13, 2025)
