Akim of the region Nurlan Urankhaev held a meeting with residents of the Ayagoz district, where he answered their questions and held a personal reception for citizens. In the format of a lively dialogue, current problems and prospects for further development of the district were discussed.

“The Ayagoz district is located at a strategic crossroads, which plays an important role in the economy of the region due to the mining industry. Since the creation of the region, we have begun large-scale work, and significant results have been achieved in two and a half years. Our main goal is the further development of the region and improving the quality of life of the population,” said Nurlan Urankhaev.

During the meeting, residents raised issues related to road infrastructure, transport, lighting, heating, landscaping and the social sphere.

The share of roads in good and satisfactory condition in the district is 70.2% (288.3 km). The bridge along Barak Batyr Street in the city of Ayagoz has been repaired. To subsidize passenger transportation on socially significant inter-district (intercity) routes Aktogay-Ayagoz. Road repairs have begun on the Karaganda-Bogas Republican Highway between Ayagoz-Barshatas, Koksala-Bidaik. 45 villages and district centers in the Ayagoz district are provided with drinking water. A thermal boiler house will be built in the district center by 2027. The construction site is currently being determined.

As part of the Comprehensive Plan, it is planned to build sewage treatment facilities in the city of Ayagoz by 2026. As part of the "Auyl - el besigi" program, power lines have been installed in the village of Aktogay, five streets in the village of Tarbagatai have been lit, and a modern sports ground has been built in the village of Akshi.

A new smelting plant of KAZ Minerals Smelting LLP is planned to be built in Ayagoz by 2028. As a result, 1083 new jobs will be created. In Ayagoz, 1.8 billion is being built two 5-story 60-apartment residential buildings. In addition, within the framework of the Comprehensive Plan, design and estimate documentation has been developed for the construction of a fire station for 4 vehicles in Ayagoz.

Particular attention is paid to children with special needs. A center for the provision of special social services has been created in the district, a specialized taxi has been purchased. By 2028, it is planned to build a rehabilitation and adaptation center for 150 places.

In 2025, a new school for 600 students will open in Ayagoz. 208.6 million tenge have been allocated for the current repair of 16 schools in the district, and seven subject rooms have also been purchased.
