An online service for assigning or canceling a real estate address is available on the portal eGov.kz

Now users can assign or cancel the address of their property online on the portal eGov.kz The service made it possible to automate the process without the need to visit Public Service Centers that previously issued certificates for this service. The assignment of an address gives the real estate object an official status, which is necessary for its subsequent identification in government databases. This information allows property owners to legally dispose of their property. The address is required to connect to public utilities (electricity, water, gas), the Internet, postal delivery and many other services. The presence of an official address provides the owner with protection of property rights in case of legal disputes, since the real estate object is entered in the Address Register. Also, without assigning an address, it is impossible to conclude subsequent real estate transactions — purchase and sale, donation, lease and other legal transactions. The service is available to individuals and legal entities and is provided free of charge. To receive the service, the user must: log in to the eGov portal.kz and go to the section "Real estate – Buying, selling, renting"; next, in the section, select the service "Assignment/cancellation of the address of real estate objects"; sign the service using an EDS. As a result of receiving the service, a notification letter about the assignment/cancellation of the address or a reasoned refusal will be displayed in the user's personal account. The status of the request will also be displayed in your personal account with the date of receipt of the result.
