eGov.kz has updated services for people with disabilities

Thanks to the updated service, guardians of persons over the age of eighteen who have been declared legally incompetent by the court can submit online applications for special services on the portal eGov.kz . The creation of a "barrier-free environment" in the field of public services ensures equal opportunities for different categories of citizens, including people with disabilities. Previously, the guardians of persons over the age of eighteen who were declared legally incompetent by the court collected documents on paper and stood in queues for special applications. The updated service allows you to submit the necessary documents online, significantly reducing time costs. Now online registration of applications for the following types of public services is available to guardians: provision of prosthetic and orthopedic care for the disabled; using the services of an individual assistant for the disabled of the first group who have difficulty moving; provision of technical auxiliary (compensatory) means for the disabled; provision of special means of transportation for the disabled; provision of sanatorium treatment for disabled people and children with disabilities; using the services of a sign language specialist for the hearing impaired (sixty hours per year); receiving special social services in home care; obtaining special social services in medical and social institutions (organizations). To receive services, the user must: - log in to the eGov portal.kz and go to the "Social Security" section; - next, in the section "Support for persons with disabilities", select the necessary service from the proposed list; - sign the service using an EDS. The user can view the result of the service in his Personal Account (in the section "Service receipt history"). Notification of the processing of the application will be received within the time specified by the state authority.
