When selling a car, the old state registration number plate must be handed over to a special TsON. This is a mandatory requirement. However, you can keep the combination of letters and numbers in the number. But you must warn the center employee about this, reports the Branch of the State Corporation "Government for Citizens" in the Abay region.

When deregistering a car, you can keep the state number and use it when registering another car for six months. The first month of the GRNZ will be stored free of charge. After that, you will need to pay a one-time state fee of 2.8 MCI. After six months, the state registration number plate will be disposed of. But this does not mean that it cannot be restored. To get them back, in addition to paying the state fee, you will also need to write an application for issuance of a number.

It is worth noting that today the specialized TsON of the city of Semey has more than 3,000 numbers in storage. Most of them are so-called VIP numbers.
