In modern society, real estate occupies an important place and is a key factor of social status, as well as a way to meet people's needs for comfort and safety. No transactions with real estate can be made without a technical passport, which contains identification data about the property. You can apply for a document at the Public Service Center.
In order to apply for a technical passport through the Public Service Center, the following documents are required: application; identity card for an individual or his representative (+ copy); document confirming the authority of a legal entity; act of acceptance of real estate into operation or state act for a site - for new objects; copy of the title document (+ original) - in case of redevelopment; document on payment of state duty.
Payment for the technical passport is two-stage: you pay the first part when submitting an application to call a technician for measurements, the second - upon receipt. The amount of payment depends on the complexity of the object and the square footage of the premises.
The technical passport is prepared within the following timeframes (not counting the day of submission of documents): entering information on new objects into the legal cadastre - 1 working day; for apartments, dormitory rooms — 3 working days; for private houses, garages, summer cottages — 5 working days; for other objects up to 1,000 sq. m — 7 working days; for objects over 1,000 sq. m — 10 working days.
The term may be extended due to the complexity of the object upon agreement with the customer of the service. In this case, the total term should not exceed two months from the date of application.
The finished technical passport is issued after payment of the state fee.
By the way, there is no need to change the technical passport in the event of a change of owner or address of the property (renaming a street, for example). This information is indicated in a special appendix to the document, and a new line with the correction is simply added to the electronic database.
