National competition "Mereyli Otbasy" public announcement for 2024

We inform you that in order to understand the moral values of the Kazakh family, strengthen the institution of family and improve status, and demonstrate responsible marital values, the selection for the national competition “Mereili Otbasy” has started.

Rules for the national competition "Mereyli Otbasy"
1. General Provisions

1. national competition “Mereyli Otbasy” (hereinafter referred to as the competition) is aimed at reviving moral values and disseminating a positive model of family and marriage (matrimony), increasing the status of the family.
The competition is held in accordance with the rules of the national competition “Mereyli Otbasy”, approved by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 5, 2014 No. 181.

2. Purpose of the competition:

1) strengthening the institution of family, morality, spirituality, recognition of the importance of responsible marriage;
2) increasing the responsibility of parents in raising children;
3) promotion and popularization of family values, guardianship of disabled and elderly parents of adult children;
4) promoting a positive image of the Kazakh family.
3. Following:
1) members who are (have become) part of organizations whose activities are prohibited on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) families with previously convicted members.
5. An application for participation in the competition is submitted to the district commission within one month from the date of publication in the media with the following documents:
1) copies of identification documents of parents (guardians, trustees), copies of children’s birth certificates;
2) for foster (guardianship) families - an extract from the decision of the local authorized body to establish guardianship (trusteeship) over a minor child;
3) a copy of the marriage certificate (if available);
4) a copy of the death certificate in the event of the death of one of the parents, if available;
5) copies of documents certifying the availability of incentives received for raising children, incentives received for certain achievements;
6) certificates and characteristics from the place of work (study) of children, parents (guardians, trustees);
7) recommendations (colleagues, neighbors, friends);
copies of documents certifying high labor, sports, creative, intellectual, scientific achievements of family members.
6. Applicants who submitted documents after the expiration of the specified period are not allowed to participate in the competition.
7.documents submitted to the district commission are not returned.
