The onset of the fire hazard!

The onset of the fire hazard!

Summer has come, a hot season begins among firefighters and foresters. From year to year, the same picture is repeated - along the highway, in the fields, in the forests, dry grass begins to burn. Of particular concern is the massive burning of last year's straw in the fields. Yes, bonfires are the easiest way to get rid of dead wood and other garbage, but we must not forget that the most dangerous. Fire, especially in windy weather, instantly gathers strength. Catching up with him, let alone eliminating it on your own, is not so simple. Short-term savings can be expensive for a particular company and society as a whole.

Every year, exercises are held that help to quickly navigate and find a solution to the elimination of foci of steppe and forest fires. Here everything is like in a real fire, here the most critical situations are taken into account and the most optimal options for fighting fire are calculated.

All enterprises, institutions and organizations conducting any work in the State Forest Fund or having certain objects in the forest should also immediately take measures to eliminate these fires on their own and in the event of forest fires in the workplace or near their facilities. But if this is not possible, you should quickly report the source of the fire to employees of the leshoz, fire service, police or local executive authorities.

Your actions in extinguishing steppe fires:

     - knock down the flame with burlap, other improvised means;

     -If there is a technique at hand, try to use it - plow the area of the fire or carry out protective plowing;

     - when extinguishing a fire, first of all, it is necessary to stop the spread of fire, and then extinguish the fire in places of the most intense burning. In this case, a stream of water must not be supplied to the flame, but to a burning surface. If it is possible to stop a moving fire element, then create an oncoming fire, i.e. annealing.

The activities of citizens that entailed the occurrence of a fire, harm to human health and the environment entail administrative and criminal liability on them. Perpetrators are brought to administrative responsibility under Art. 336 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan for non-compliance with requirements for the protection of atmospheric air and fire safety when storing and burning industrial and household waste.
