Children are our future. But do we always think about what and how to make the child’s life joyful and happy, so that trouble does not happen to him. Unfortunately, not all adults remember this. One of the causes of these troubles that parents should not forget is the play of children with fire. As a result, fire damages personal property and poses a threat to the lives of citizens. Why is this happening? Most often the fault of the adults themselves. Left alone in the house, unattended, kids are fond of illegal games with matches. However, they do not represent the serious consequences of playing with fire. Unattended children often find themselves playing in the form of games with matches, lighters, glowing coals, and the desire to experiment, setting fire to various materials, in the absence of fire handling skills, leads, as a rule, to very sad consequences. Not only young children, but also older children like to play with fire. Sometimes students make bonfires in the yards. Such games of adolescents are no longer random - this is the result of conscious action. As a result, the pipe insulation lights up, the garbage in the garbage bin ignites. Unfortunately, such cases are not isolated. At home and at school, you need to constantly carry out educational work with the children, telling them what harm the fires cause. The forms and methods of educating schoolchildren with a sense of respect for the preservation of state and personal property are diverse. In all schools, with primary school students, first of all, it is necessary to organize dictations, essays, quizzes on this topic, as well as watching special videos. It is necessary in each school to create youthful voluntary fire brigades.
The first thing you need to focus on your children is the rules of conduct in case of fire:
- Do not stay in a house or apartment, hide in closets, pantries, under beds; engage in self-extinguishing fire; risk your life by saving property; to open wide the windows and doors; go down the ropes, sheets, downspouts; jump out of the windows of the upper floors; try to exit through a smoky stairwell if a fire occurs outside the apartment.
Each child should know the phone number by which firefighters can be called: “101”. The most important thing that your children must learn is the strict observance of fire safety rules, which does not allow rash acts and games with fire. This is the duty and duty of every family.
