In 2023, citizens turned to public service centers operators and received more than 16.6 million government services through them. Kazakhstanis received over 15 million more services in self-service sectors at public service centers.
Note that the top 3 government services included: obtaining digital signatures, registering vehicles and issuing identity cards and passports.
Chairman of the Board of the NJSC “State Corporation “Government for Citizens” Arman Kenzhegaliev, summing up the results of the year, said: “For us, it is important not only the quality of public services, but also the development of services for the convenience of citizens. We have introduced a number of innovative solutions that have made government services even more accessible to Kazakhstanis. So, for example, the functionality of the mobile application “Central Center” has expanded. More than 300 thousand services were provided through it this year. Next year, the State Corporation will continue to automate processes. Since this ensures transparency, the absence of barriers for citizens and businesses, data security and, ultimately, an increase in citizens’ trust in the state.”
Let us add that the most significant events of the year for the State Corporation were the implementation of the new information system “Unified State Real Estate Cadastre”, the transfer of the functions of the Civil Registry Office to the “Government for Citizens”, the installation of 12 documentation terminals in public service centers in Astana and Almaty, through which you can apply for the production of a passport and ID personality. The State Corporation also introduced a new Traffic Regulations 3.0 system in special service centers with a higher level of control over driving license exams.
