More than 192 thousand people received public services thanks to the Digital Family Card

Thanks to the introduction of the Digital Family Card, since January 1, 2023, more than 536.9 thousand people have received SMS for the proactive provision of public services. At the same time, more than 192.5 thousand people took advantage of the opportunity to receive benefits or payments without application. In addition, more than 64.4 thousand unemployed citizens received messages with information about job search opportunities, free education and other measures of state support in the field of employment. The digital family map is formed on the basis of data from all existing information systems of government agencies. To date, it has accumulated information about more than 19.7 million citizens of Kazakhstan, or more than 6 million families. The main goal of introducing a digital family card is to ensure equal access of Kazakhstanis to the state support system. In this regard, in the Social Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Digital Map is designated as a tool for determining medium-term and long-term tasks and directions of social policy. The CKS is also a daily "electronic notifier" of citizens about their rights to receive one or another type of guaranteed state support, depending on their social status. Currently, the CKS gives Kazakhstanis eligible for state support measures the opportunity to apply for 10 types of benefits and social payments without any appeal: social payment in case of disability; social benefits in case of job loss; social payment or survivor's benefit; allowance for a parent (guardian) raising a child with a disability; disability allowance; allowance for large families; allowance for mothers of many children awarded with pendants "Altyn alka" and "Kumis alka"; targeted social assistance, as well as a one-time payment for burial. Also, automatic notifications about the possibility of receiving pension payments, the expiration date of the assigned/extended "kandas" status, and employment measures for the unemployed were implemented through the CKS. When establishing the right to receive state support measures, a potential recipient is sent an SMS notification from a single contact center 1414. The citizen who received the SMS must respond to it with consent. The execution of the application and the appointment of social benefits or payments will be made automatically, with the subsequent transfer of funds to the recipient's bank account.
