PSCs will stop issuing receipts

The Government for Citizens Corporation will transfer most public services to paperless service. For this purpose, paper receipts for 8 services were excluded from public service centers. In the near future, all other services will also be transferred to service without receipts. According to Suyenish Abdildin, Chairman of the Board of the State Corporation "Government for Citizens", the transition to paperless service will be carried out in several stages. “During the general digitalization and debureaucratization of the state apparatus, millions of tons of paper must be replaced with technologies and online services, which is what we are doing. Now Kazakhstanis will receive an SMS notification, where it will be indicated at what time and at what PSC it is necessary to apply for the finished document. It is enough for the PSC operator for the client to present the electronic version of the receipt,” Abdildin said. Every year, specialists from public service centers issue about 6 million receipts to Kazakhstanis for these 8 services (40% of the total number of receipts). Refusal of them will not only save customers from having to present them when receiving documents, but will also allow the state corporation to reduce the cost of paper, which, by the way, has risen sharply in 2022. In order to optimize the budget, the Government for citizens decided to switch to the use of eco-paper from semi-bleached pulp. It differs from the usual yellow color, which does not affect the quality of the printed text. In addition, it is suitable for any printers and copiers. Currently, many government agencies, universities and banks are switching to the use of such paper.
