The spring-summer period is coming, which every person at any age is waiting with great joy and hope for the upcoming vacation, plans to spend outdoor recreation on weekends and holidays, as well as to carry out certain work on their personal plots, cottages, in houses. Unfortunately, some people forget that after the snow melts and the melt water leaves, the fire hazard situation increases sharply. Careless, careless handling of fire when burning dry grass, garbage on the territory of cottages, houses often turns into disaster - this is almost 50% of all fires that occur annually for this very reason. Every year in the spring, farm buildings and residential buildings of the citizens of the region, as well as summer cottages, burn. With the onset of the spring-summer fire hazard period, employees of the Department of Emergency Situations of the Almaty region appeal to citizens with a request to be extremely careful and attentive! Therefore, in order to avoid trouble, it is necessary to know and follow the elementary fire safety rules: - timely clean the territory of the site and the territory adjacent to it from combustible waste, debris, fallen leaves, dry grass; Place a water container near each building. Buildings must have ladders reaching the roof, and on the roof a ladder reaching the roof ridge; - it is forbidden to make fires, burn garbage in places located at a distance of less than 50 meters from buildings and structures; - do not leave gas cylinders, as well as containers with flammable or combustible liquids in the yards; - do not leave bottles thrown on the street, broken glasses, which, turning into a lens in the sun, concentrating the sun's rays, lead to the grass under it igniting; - keep electrical networks, electrical and gas appliances, stoves in good condition and take precautions when using them.
