Every year, with the beginning of spring, there is an increase in the number of trips to fires and fires. As a rule, unauthorized burning of garbage, dry grass and stubble occurs during this period, which increases the growth of fires. Causes of fires of dry vegetation are unextinguished fires, carelessly thrown cigarette butts and matches, deliberate burning of dry grass and garbage. In this regard, when going out into nature and when cleaning adjacent areas, it is necessary to follow the fire safety rules. Failure to comply with fire safety requirements when incinerating waste entails administrative liability in accordance with Articles 336 and 410 of the Code of Administrative Offenses in the form of a fine from three to one hundred and twenty monthly calculation indices. Burning of garbage is allowed only in specially designated places for this in calm weather at a distance of at least 50 meters from any buildings, structures and stored materials in the presence of primary fire extinguishing equipment (fire extinguishers, water). The area where garbage is burned must be cleared of dry grass and leaves. Burning of garbage should be carried out only in the daytime, under constant supervision. After burning garbage, the fire must be carefully filled with water. Leaving unextinguished fires unattended is prohibited. For most citizens, the garbage collected in the courtyard is, of course, easier to burn than to take it to a landfill. However, carelessness and negligence when burning garbage can lead to a fire and cause irreparable damage.
Remember! A fire is easier to prevent than to extinguish.
