Repair work will be carried out at the autodrome of the special PSC in Semey from February 23 for two weeks. This was reported in the branch of the state corporation "Government for Citizens" in East Kazakhstan region. “Now the circuit operates an outdated system based on magnetic sensors. They often fail in emergency situations, and failures also occur in bad weather conditions. During the modernization, we will replace the magnetic sensors with a new GPS system, where the practical exam is carried out via a satellite signal,” explained Ruslan Kibke, Deputy Director of the Government for Citizens branch in East Kazakhstan region. The driving test consists of driving a car on a circuit where a series of maneuvers and tasks must be completed. Throughout the circuit there are special sensors for "reading" the results. “The resumption of the driving test will be announced later. If you urgently need to get a license, customers can pass the theory in Semey, and driving in Ust-Kamenogorsk, where the exam will be taken by a commission on the basis of a training center at the address: Ust-Kamenogorsk, st. Nazarbayev 59," the department added.
