THE PATRIOT OF HIS COUNTRY DOES NOT STAY ABOUT CORRUPTION!

The Anti-Corruption Service of the East Kazakhstan region calls on citizens not to be silent about the known facts of corruption.

Since 2020, the country has introduced a new differentiated system of incentives for citizens who reported corruption facts.

A similar system of encouraging whistleblowers is also successfully applied in such foreign countries as Germany, USA, Great Britain.

Currently, for reporting a corruption offense for which the amount of a bribe or damage caused does not exceed 1000 MCI, the remuneration, depending on the severity of the crime, is up to 100 MCI.

For reporting the fact of corruption with damage over 1000 MCI, the remuneration is 10 percent, but not more than 4000 MCI.

So, since the beginning of this year, 6 citizens have been encouraged in the East Kazakhstan region to report the facts of corruption to the regional Anti-Corruption Service.

At the same time, the maximum amount of remuneration in the current year was 4 million tenge, the minimum - 138,900 tenge.

It should be noted that the encouragement of citizens is carried out if the information provided by the person is true or helped the competent authorities in identifying, suppressing, disclosing and investigating a corruption offense.

The protection of persons who reported the fact of corruption is carried out in accordance with the norms of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption", while the person who reported such cases is not only encouraged by money, but is also under the protection of the state. Information about such a person is a state secret.

We call on all citizens to "zero" tolerance for manifestations of corruption. And in case of a collision with them, report this to the Anti-Corruption Service of the East Kazakhstan region at 8 (7232) 29-88-88 or to the Call Center 1424.
