The increase in pension savings of Kazakhstanis for the year amounted to 613 billion tenge

The main amount of pension savings was formed at the expense of compulsory pension contributions (OPV) and amounted to 12.9 trillion tenge (growth over the past 12 months was 5%). The amount of pension savings on compulsory professional pension contributions (CPPV) amounted to 355.7 billion tenge (an increase of 16%), the amount of pension savings on voluntary pension contributions (VSP) amounted to about 1.7 billion tenge. For ten months of 2021, UAPF contributors contributed more funds than in the same period last year. As of November 1, 2021, pension contributions in the total amount of about 1.1 trillion tenge were received on the accounts of contributors, which exceeded the figure for the same period in 2020 (by 203.5 billion tenge or 23%). Of the total amount of contributions, 95.7% are receipts to the UAPF for OPV - 1.02 trillion tenge (an increase of 24% over the last 12 months), 45.7 billion tenge (an increase of 17%), 567 million tenge (an increase of 39 %) was listed under the DPV. In addition to the contributions of the contributors themselves, a significant increase in pension savings was ensured by net investment income, which exceeded 1.2 trillion tenge from January 1 to November 1, 2021, which exceeds last year's figures by 105.6 billion tenge or 10%. The return on pension assets of the UAPF under the management of the National Bank of Kazakhstan since the beginning of the year amounted to 9.93%, with inflation of 7.0%. At the same time, the profitability for the last 12 months was 10.90%, while inflation for the same period was 8.9%. The number of individual pension accounts in the UAPF as of November 1, 2021 amounted to 11.7 million units. The largest number of accounts was opened for mandatory pension contributions (OPV) - 10,910,003 units. Next, there are accounts generated at the expense of OPPV, 536,752 units, the number of accounts at the expense of DPV in the UAPF is now 56,487 units. Since the beginning of the year, the UAPF paid out 2.2 trillion tenge to depositors, most of which were lump-sum pension payments (EPP) - 2.0 trillion tenge. Age payments - KZT 78.7 billion. This is followed by: transfers to insurance organizations - they amounted to about 50.8 billion tenge, inherited payments of 47.7 billion tenge, in connection with leaving for permanent residence outside the Republic of Kazakhstan 33.0 billion tenge, for burial 4.5 billion tenge and payments for disability 1.8 billion tenge. It should be noted that the amount of the average monthly payment according to the schedule (in connection with reaching the retirement age) was 28,472 tenge, and the maximum amount of the monthly payment was 673,643 tenge.
