A new exposition department was opened

A new exposition department was opened in the Ayagoz branch of the Museum of History and Local Lore in Semey. The exposition presents visual materials and information about the history of primitive communal construction, field geology, archeology, paleontological and mineral resources, animals and birds, plants inhabiting this region, as well as sacred places, historical and cultural monuments of the Ayagoz region. The event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia, students and teachers. A cultural figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, professor, a native of the Ayagoz region, Kurmangazy Orazuly, cut the opening tape of the exposition department. "Promotion of sacred and historical places to the younger generation, involvement in nature conservation is the duty of every person. In this direction, the department of nature in the museum is of great importance," Kurmangazy Orazuly said in his welcoming speech.
