Most of the retirees live in the East Kazakhstan region

"Government for Citizens" has shared information about pensioners receiving pension payments through the state corporation. Today there are 2.2 million pensioners in Kazakhstan.

This service is handled by the social security departments of the branches of the state corporation. According to their data, most pensioners live in the Almaty region - 234,043 people. In second place, with a slight lag, is the East Kazakhstan region - 233,109 people, the three leaders are closed by the city of Almaty - 229,994 people.

Least of all pensioners live in Mangistau (55 388), Atyrau (61 252) and Kyzylorda (76 423) regions.

“The state corporation always tries to pay great attention to our clients of retirement age. We have a mobile PSC that can provide them with services at home. Each department has a preferential window where retirees can receive government services without waiting in line. For two years now we have been a pilot organization testing the possibility of retirement in a proactive way. In this case, a future pensioner, upon reaching the retirement age, needs only to give his consent to a sent SMS-notification with a proposal to arrange everything proactively, ”said Azamat Yesembulov, director of the“ Government for Citizens ”branch in East Kazakhstan region.

Now you can apply for retirement by contacting the PSC. To do this, the future pensioner must provide the following documents: an application for the appointment of retirement benefits by age, an identity card and a copy of it, a certificate of income and retirement benefits made from them (issued by the employer or the state revenue authority), a work book or other documents confirming work experience. Depending on the situation, other documents may also be needed - a diploma of education, military ID, marriage certificate, birth certificates of children and others. If a person has a disability, is a participant in hostilities, lived in areas of maximum radiation risk, has the status of "kandas", you will need to provide supporting documents.

For registration of pension payments, you must apply 10 days before the onset of retirement age.

In 2021, the retirement age for men in Kazakhstan reaches 63 years, for women - 60 years.
