Registration of persons wishing to adopt children

If you are a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan wishing to adopt a child, the very first thing you need to do is fill out an application and register. This service is provided online on the e-government portal.

How to get the service online:

Log in to the portal and click on the "Order online service" button in the "Family" section.

Fill in the application and sign it with an EDS (electronic digital signature).

Attach the following documents to the application:

• a copy of the written consent of close relatives for the adoption of a child.
• a copy of a certificate of the amount of total income (certificate of wages from the place of work, income from entrepreneurial activity and other income of all family members living together).
• a copy of a certificate of marital status (a copy of a certificate of conclusion (dissolution) of marriage (matrimony), copies of birth certificates of children in case of a child's birth before August 13, 2007 or outside the Republic of Kazakhstan (if there are children)).
• a copy of the health certificate of the applicant and the spouse, if married, confirming the absence of diseases, as well as a certificate of the absence of information about the state of health registered in the narcological and psychiatric dispensaries.
• a copy of the document confirming the right to use the housing of the service recipient and (or) spouse (in the absence of ownership of the housing).
