The bright world of the blind

November 13 is the international day of the blind. This day, which has been celebrated by the UN General Assembly since 1992, has its place for the blind. On this day, despite the difficulties that were caused by the fateful path, they energetically walked forward, they felt like full members of society. The designation of this day is to attract public attention to blind people and improve their lives.

Ayagoz district primary organization of the public Association of the Kazakh blind has been operating since 2011. In order to attract the blind to the public environment, provide psychological assistance, and conduct rehabilitation work, cultural and sports events and exhibitions of various subjects are organized. The Ayagoz blind society has more than 60 members. Head: Kuralai Elshibekova. In society, everyone has equal rights regardless of social status. In this regard, the blind are also not left without the care of the state. The regional Museum will soon organize an exhibition of Handicrafts from the hands of the blind. Support for people with disabilities is one of the priority areas of state policy.
