When you leave the house, check!

Since the beginning of the year, there have already been cases of uncontrolled abandonment of food on the stove in the Ayagoz district.

According to these cases, according to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Administrative Offences" provides for liability in the form of an administrative fine.

Cooking at home is one of the daily chores in everyone's life. And even such daily activities can have tragic consequences if basic fire safety rules are not followed.

The main cause of the fire of food on the stove is ordinary human negligence. Drinking alcohol also plays an important role in such cases - a person in the intoxication is able to simply forget that began to cook or warm up food. The pot or pan put on the stove and forget about it: fall asleep from fatigue or intoxicated, and sometimes even leave the house. Often, by putting food on the stove, a person can go to the grocery store to buy the missing product, in the hope that nothing will happen to the food being prepared.

When the food burns, there is a specific smell. There is smoke, which does not always spread outside the apartment. Around the hot dishes the temperature rises. Food in a pot or oil in a frying pan can catch fire. High temperatures can ignite flammable materials such as a cupboard, hanging curtains, or lying grips. Plastic products, such as pan handles or cutting boards, begin to melt. Plastics will emit poisonous substances. Milk simply boils over the edges of the dishes, as a result of which the fire can go out. If no one turns off the gas, there may be a gas leak.

To avoid such incidents, which can end tragically, we all need to remember that the plate on should not be left unattended. If you are tired, rest and only after rest begin to cook food. There should not be flammable materials and objects near the stove. In the kitchen, it is useful to have a firework cloth or fire extinguisher on hand, which is suitable for extinguishing burning oil.
