Poet Tolegen Jangaliev turned 75 years old.

A member of the Union of Writers and Journalists of Kazakhstan, holder of the Order of "Kurmet", the Ibrai Altynsarin badge, laureate of the international literary prize "Alash", cultural figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorary Citizen of Abay district, poet Tolegen Zhangaliyev turned 75 years old.

On this occasion, a creative evening called "Karkuar" was held at the Abay Drama Theater. The evening was attended by the regional akim Nurlan Telmanuly, the district akim Meirzhan Serikbosynuly, representatives of the intelligentsia, poets-writers, the poet's students and readers.

Speaking at the opening of the evening, the akim of Abay region Nurlan Urankhayev delivered his congratulations and placed a shawl on the poet's shoulders. The district akim Meirzhan Serikbosynuly expressed his warm words and paid tribute.

The creative evening featured a theatrical performance "Karkuar" with the participation of artists of the "Dariga-ay" Youth Theater. Congratulatory letters from State Councilor Yerlan Karin and the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan were read. In addition, a group of writers, including the student of the jubilee, poet Kalkaman Sarin, writer, laureate of the international literary prize "Alash" Daulet Seisenuly, took the stage and expressed their warm wishes to Tolegen Zhangaliyuly.

A poem dedicated to the poet by the famous writer, playwright, translator and public figure of Kazakhstan, Rollan Seisenbayev, was read.
