More than 2,500 residents of the Abai region have been married since the beginning of the year

A wedding is an important and serious step in every person's life. The first stage of marriage is filing an application and obtaining a marriage registration certificate. Since the beginning of the year, 2,730 couples have married in the Abai region, and 448 families have filed for divorce.

In order to register a marriage, future newlyweds must apply for marriage registration through the departments of the RAGS in the PSC, and you can also apply through the e-government portal egov.kz .

When submitting an application, the following documents must be presented: identity documents; divorce certificates, if any of the applicants have remarried; birth certificates of children, if there are children; receipt for payment of state duty (3,864 tenge in 2024, paid at the cash desk of any bank).

After the representative of the registry office accepts your application and documents, the date of registration at the registry office will be set for the fifteenth calendar day, which is calculated from the next business day after submitting the application for marriage.

On the appointed date, you must come to the registry office and get a marriage certificate.

From this day on, you are already considered husband and wife. And your marriage is officially registered.
