Today, many of them have already become symbols of Taldykorgan. By the City Day, we decided to make a list of twenty iconic places.
1. The entrance arch is the main gate of the regional center.
2. Cottage town - a new residential area with 620 cottage houses, located in the south-west of the city of Taldykorgan.
3. "Saltanat sarayy" - right at the entrance to the city, the most beautiful and original building "Saltanat Sarayy" or the Wedding Palace.
4. The Drama Theater named after Biken Rimova is an incredibly beautiful building of the Melpomene Temple. The grand opening took place in October 2018.
5. Koktem Grand-hotel complex-is located at the entrance to the city. The unusual appearance of the hotel stands out against the background of the city with its peculiar architecture.
6. The Zhastar Sports Palace is one of the unusual and familiar architectural objects of the city.
7. The Palace of Schoolchildren - a unique place for the children of the regional center-was decorated by the architectural ensemble of Taldykorgan.
8. The flagpole located in the central park of culture and recreation "Zhastar".
9. The monument "Ush ata". In the very center of Zhetysu pearl stands a majestic monument erected in 2006.
10. Zhastar Park is one of the favorite recreation places of citizens, as well as a platform for cultural and entertainment events.
11. Central swimming pool. Its opening took place recently, but the water giant has already become the hallmark of the city.
12. The Zhetysu Monument, or the city stele, is another recognizable object in the city. It is located on a roundabout and symbolizes the seven rivers of Zhetysu.
13. The Central Mosque - the main Muslim temple of Taldykorgan was opened on November 7, 2014. Entrepreneurs and public figures of the region made a great contribution to the construction.
14. Zhetysu Stadium-built in 1982. Athletes of Taldykorgan symbolize the city with this place.

15. Arbat - the central pedestrian street-Birzhan-sal. Traffic is blocked here, there are many shops along the street, in the summer it is good to walk or relax here, there are many shops and stalls.
16. The area of seven fountains. In April 2019, its grand opening took place. We reconstructed all the old fountains and built new ones. But the old look of "Taykazan" was preserved, because this is the history of the city.
17. The City Park-the reconstruction of its eastern part was started in March 2017. This is where people spend their leisure time.
18. The house-museum of Ilyas Zhansugurov is a historical place popular among residents of other regions. Many tourists immediately remember this house when they ask Taldykorgan.
19. The embankment of the Karatal River is a new and modern architectural object that has picturesquely fit into the number of the main attractions of Taldykorgan.
20. Koktem Square is located in the eastern part of the city across the Karatal River. In the central part of a small square there is a monument that symbolizes youth, spring and rebirth. All these sights symbolize the city, it is these objects that residents and guests of the city remember when they hear the word Taldykorgan.
