The Republican public Association "Adildik Zholy" together with the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on August 15, 2022 launches a large-scale campaign "Adildikti talap et!" throughout the republic.

Any citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan can take part in the action.
The main goal of the campaign is to create an atmosphere of zero tolerance in society for all manifestations of corruption and mass involvement of citizens of the country in this process. The event will gradually cover the widest range of issues of concern to the society where corruption takes place.
At the first stage, the NGO "Adildik Zholy" focuses on the problems of corruption in the road industry.
At an expanded meeting of the Government on July 14, 2022, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined the high level of corruption in the field of road construction, instructing to thoroughly investigate violations that have been committed over 10 years during the construction of roads in our country. "It's no secret that the roads in the country are bad, and corruption is rampant in the road construction industry. In general, a lot of problems have accumulated in this area... All those responsible for the poor quality of roads should be brought to justice in accordance with the law," the Head of State said.
This is one of the most corrupt spheres in Kazakhstan. It is she who is the object of constant criticism.
In 2021, about 500 billion tenge was allocated to the road sector. In the same year, 14,000 road accidents, more than 2,000 deaths, and 18,000 injuries were registered. This is 20,000 crippled destinies! It is safe to say that part of the accident is related to the quality of roads.
The quality and condition of our roads are also a matter of concern on the part of representatives of the business community whose activities are related to road transportation. The transport system is a key component of the country's infrastructure. In terms of road quality in the WEF Global Competitiveness Index, our country ranks 108th out of 138.
This year, repair work will be carried out on more than 11 thousand kilometers of roads. Within the framework of 600 billion tenge for six months, the results of public procurement for 44% of funds have not been summed up. All stages of road construction projects are subject to corruption risks. Only by joint efforts of the state and citizens, involving the public as much as possible in the process of fighting corruption, we will be able to resist this evil.

Citizens will be able to join the action through the Adildik website.kz and inform about problems, facts of corruption in the construction, repair and maintenance of highways in Kazakhstan by Call center 1463, starting from August 15.
All incoming information will be discussed at the meetings of the regional and republican Councils of "Adildik Kenesi" with the involvement of the general public. Constructive proposals will be developed to improve industry regulations and recommendations for authorized bodies.
The results of the action and the results of the Association's activities will be announced at the Anti–Corruption Forum scheduled for the end of 2022 with the assignment of the status of "Adildik zhauyngeri" to the most active citizens participating in the action.
We invite all concerned citizens to join this action, to take an active part in the fight against corrupt officials, "thanks" to whom our country cannot develop fully and is ranked 102 out of 180 countries in the corruption perception index.

The organizer of the above-mentioned event is the NGO "Adildik Zholy", created in order to support the second platform "Adildik" of the election program of the current President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K-Zh.K. Tokayev on November 18, 2020. In a short period of time, the organization was able to show good results in the fight against corruption and all types of its manifestations.
So, since the beginning of the year, the Association has provided legal advice to more than 22 thousand citizens, as part of the monitoring of public procurement, about 1,000 facts of price overstatement and violations of legislation in the amount of 20 billion tenge have been established. According to these and other facts, more than 300 heads of state agencies and other persons have been fined a total of 67 million tenge, 21 criminal cases have been initiated.
Half of them are engaged in entrepreneurial activity by civil servants or persons equated to them.
For example, the deputy director of one of the sports schools of the city of Aktobe was simultaneously engaged in public procurement as an individual entrepreneur and provided services to other sports schools and educational organizations. She was fined in the amount of 428,820 tenge, and illegal income in favor of the state in the amount of 15,901,780 tenge was confiscated from her.
The association was the first to reveal the corruption of the project ArtSport.kz . – per capita financing of the state creative order in the amount of 28 billion tenge (547 violations out of 1704 voucher holders were found in Shymkent alone, that is, every 3rd did not attend the section).
