School of Young Leaders

Abai East Kazakhstan Humanitarian College organized a summer School of Young Leaders for TVE students based on educational and practice facilities of Svinchatka village, Katon-Karagai district of East Kazakhstan region. The summer camp worked from July, 4 till July 18, 2022. It had two arrivals receiving 102 students.

The goal is to organize summer holidays as well as to develop the leadership skills of the project participants.

The program of the summer School of Young Leaders aimed at identifying, stimulating and training of leaders, that is, those students who are most respected among students and strive to lead them, involving them in various interesting activities.

The leading idea of ​​the summer School of Young Leaders was to expose students to acquire the ability to organize business within the framework of student self-government, the ability to plan, coordinate, track results, the ability to analyze, as well as to cultivate tolerance, patriotism, love for the native land and its nature.

The program is profiled to fulfill the tasks of developing students' opportunities for social adaptation and self-determination in constantly changing living conditions.

Areas of work of the School of Young Leaders:

  • various types of trainings;
  • trainings on building an anti-corruption culture;
  • patriotic education;
  • regional history;
  • environmental education;
  • sports and recreation.

The program included a combination of various innovative methods of student movement, elements of psychological training, business games Elections, Leader and Team, Firm, collective creative games, practical exercises, discussions, sports competitions and tourist relay races, excursions, visiting Berel barrow, Oralkhan Bokey Museum in Shyngystai village, bonfire, gala concert and etc.

This program is developed for TVE students aged 16-19. Students and their parents were grateful to the organizers for such an active event.
