About 6 thousand organizations submitted reports to the NGO Database

The Ministry of Information and Public Development summed up the results of the next reporting period in the NGO Database. Recall that the deadline for organizations to provide information about their activities expired on April 1, 2021.

5,856 non-governmental organizations provided information on their activities for the reporting year 2020 to the NGO Database.
According to the information provided, the main activities of non-governmental organizations are support for socially vulnerable segments of the population – 874, physical culture and sports-726, protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and organizations-611, support for youth policy and children's initiatives-444, education and science-407, strengthening public harmony and national unity-294, protection of public health, promotion of a healthy lifestyle-274, development of culture and art-246 and 1,980 organizations in other areas of NGO activity.
It should be noted that the Departments of Internal Policy and Public Development of the North Kazakhstan, Atyrau and Kostanay regions conducted extensive information and explanatory work among non-governmental organizations in their region and showed the highest results in ensuring timely provision of information to the Database.
Providing information to the NGO Database is a prerequisite for participating in the competition for the implementation of social programs and (or) social projects within the framework of the state social order and state grants, as well as for receiving an award for NGOs. Being in the NGO Database will provide an opportunity for organizations to get acquainted with successful NGO projects, exchange experience, establish cooperation and partnership.
