The country hosts events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the concept of celebrating a significant date, each month is held under a separate theme. In particular, March is dedicated to the national traditions and culture of the country, and April is held under the heading "Science and Technology".
All events and projects are held under the sign of the main idea of the celebration "Creation in the name of people".
The April schedule of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence includes a number of events to promote young talented Kazakhstanis who demonstrate high achievements in education and science.
"We need to provide young people with all the opportunities for active expression of active patriotism. It is necessary to create favorable conditions for investing its knowledge, time and energy in building a strong independent Kazakhstan, " President Tokayev said at the first meeting of the State Commission on Preparations for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In this regard, Kazakhstan has launched a number of projects aimed at supporting young scientists.
The Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation has announced a competition for the title of the best Council of Young Scientists at scientific organizations and universities of the country. When determining the winner, the members of the competition commission will rely on the activity and effectiveness of the work of the Council of Young Scientists. The Foundation also announced a competition for grants to provide funding for research projects and works of young scientists in the field of applied scientific research in priority areas of science, technology and engineering in higher educational institutions and scientific organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Ministry of Education and Science has launched the Internet project "GYLYM TALKS" to promote the achievements of Kazakhstani scientists in various fields of science and new technologies.
At the same time, an online forum of young scientists "Smart Generation"is planned to be held within a month.
Today, about 22 thousand specialists work in the field of science in Kazakhstan. More than 34% of researchers in Kazakhstan are employees under the age of 35.
