Dairy farm for 1200 heads launched in Pavlodar region

The project was implemented in eight months. Abylkair Skakov visited the opening of a new complex for the production of high-quality milk.

The dairy farm of AgroTrade PV LLP is located in the village of Olgino, Pavlodar region. Its construction began in March 2022. According to the director Kuanysh Temirgalin, the farm intends to produce up to 30 thousand liters of milk per day, and with full capacity, the total yield will be 10 thousand tons of milk per year.

– Now we have 476 heads of Holstein-Frisian cattle breed. An additional purchase is planned to bring up to 1200 heads," the farm director shared. – The project was implemented with the support of the state. A milking "carousel" for 40 cows was installed. An automated process and cows of a highly productive breed will allow you to achieve high performance.

About 100 new jobs have been created in the milk production complex, the main share will be occupied by local residents. In addition to milk, the farm is engaged in the cultivation of potatoes, cereals and fodder crops. It is expected that the irrigated lands on 1,700 hectares will fully provide for the maintenance of cows. 

In general, as the governor of the region stressed, the agro-industrial complex of our region is dynamically developing in all directions. So over the past three years, the area of irrigated land has increased by 40 thousand.ha and amounted to 142 thousand hectares. At the same time, the efficiency of agricultural production increased 4.5 times.

– The gross volume of agricultural products has increased 1.8 times since 2020, – said Abylkair Skakov. – These are very good achievements. Of course, this is the fruit of the selfless work of our fellow countrymen, such as you, who are faithful to their work. By your example, you have shown how in six months you can build a high-quality enterprise and build production from scratch.

Today there are 37 dairy farms in the region. There are plans to build eight more new complexes that will further increase milk production by 43 thousand tons.
