UMIRZAK SHUKEYEV APPRECIATED PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Mayor of the Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev checked how the new type of public transport works. The head of the region became a passenger of the new bus and appreciated the work of the modern GPS device installed in it to track the route.

In Turkestan, new buses have left for city routes today. 20 cars of the SAZ LE-60 brand were purchased by «TehProfAvto» LLP from the Samarkand Automobile Plant on a special order. In the coming days, the bus fleet will be replenished with 30 more buses. The new comfortable public transport will improve the quality of everyday life of citizens.

Each bus is designed for 25 passengers and is equipped with a ramp, fans, an electronic fare payment system and three video surveillance cameras. To date, about 300 public transport units in Turkestan carry passengers on 21 regular routes.

Also on the roads of the regional center, new taxis, decorated in the same style - 20 comfortable cars of Kazakhstan production, left. They will ensure the safety of the movement of the population by increasing the number of legal road carriers, and are ready for high-quality service under the «Yassytaxi» brand.
