Kazakhstan – USA: issues of development of the main areas of bilateral cooperation were discussed

On June 7, 2023, Vice Minister of Trade and Integration K. Torebayev met with Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia D. De Falco in Astana.

At the meeting, the sides discussed the development of the main areas of bilateral cooperation as well as the most relevant topics in the light of the current geopolitical situation.

K.Torebayev spoke about the activities of the Ministry to strengthen regional trade integration, diversification of trade routes and support of exporters.

In turn, David De Falco noted that Kazakhstan has friendly relations with all neighboring countries and expressed the readiness of the United States for closer cooperation.

Following the meeting, the Vice Minister expressed hope to see each other on the sidelines of the Astana International Forum on June 8-9, 2023.
