Serik Zhumangarin presented export opportunities of domestic railway engineering to the Azerbaijani side

On the eve of the plenary session in Baku, Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan  Serik Zhumangarin met with Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov.

During the bilateral meeting, the Kazakh side presented the possibilities of domestic heavy engineering, offering the supply of locomotives and freight cars of its own production.

«The Azerbaijani market is of great interest for the export of Kazakh processed products. Just a few days ago, a trade and economic mission of Kazakhstani manufacturers took place, following which contracts were signed for the supply of metallurgical products, food and confectionery products totaling $ 55 million. Our states have a great potential for increasing cooperation in energy, transport, and trade in agricultural goods. We are aimed at establishing mutually beneficial and fruitful cooperation on the maximum possible range of issues and are always open to new proposals», — Serik Zhumangarin said.

The parties also discussed joint projects in the fields of energy, communications and communications, transport, agriculture, culture, tourism and other areas.
