In Kazakhstan, local executive bodies continue to conclude memoranda with large retail chains on reducing the trade allowance to 10%, only in Astana the chain of stores "Vkusmart", "FerMag", "Akmol", "Astykzhan" and "Anvar" have already reduced trade allowances for socially significant food.
According to the head of the Department of Trade of Astana Asel Abubakirova, there are about 29 retail chains with 203 stores in Astana.
"21 retail chains are engaged in the sale of socially significant food products. A chain of stores with 39 outlets registered under the brand "Vkusmart", "FerMag", "Akmol", "Astykzhan" and "Anvar" have already signed memoranda with the Mayor's office of the capital on reducing the trade mark-up for products from the NWPT list to 10%. The readiness to sign a similar memorandum was confirmed by seven more retail chains with 82 stores," the head of the Department of Trade of Astana informed.
Recall that last week such regions as Shymkent, Almaty, Kostanay, Aktobe, Atyrau, Abai, Turkestan regions, East Kazakhstan Region, West Kazakhstan Region, concluded more than 60 memoranda with large retail chains such as Magnum, Small, Anvar, Astykzhan, etc. This week, the memorandum was signed in Astana, Pavlodar, Zhambyl region and North Kazakhstan region.
It should be noted that the signing of memoranda is an important stage in price formation, the trade premium is now 15% reduced to 10% within the framework of the memorandum, this will allow large retail chains in Kazakhstan to reduce prices for socially important food.
