QazTrade increase the export of finished products and services in the UAE market

On September 19-20, 2022, the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Smailov A.A. took place in Abu Dhabi. to the United Arab Emirates (hereinafter -UAE).

The UAE is one of the priority markets for Kazakhstan products. The products of the Kazakhstan agro-industrial complex and the food industry are currently the most popular. Today, Kazakhstan enterprises regularly supply domestic products to the UAE market and their number is constantly growing.

During the visit, a number of trade agreements worth $23 million were signed. KazakhAgroExport LLP and Optograd LLP signed an agreement for the supply of meat products. Citix LLP signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Gulf Foundation for the implementation of the Smart City&Adtech project. Among the signatories are companies that are participants in the Export Acceleration Program, which is operated by QazTrade JSC.

In order to further promote Kazakhstan products to the UAE market, the Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Member of the Board of Directors of QazTrade K. Torebayev signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the UAE. This document will allow to continue work on the implementation of existing commercial agreements and establish new contacts for the development of promising areas of trade.
