Kazakhstan's foreign trade in January-February 2022

According to the operator for export support and development of JSC "QazTrade" of the MTI RK, the trade turnover of Kazakhstan in January-February 2022 amounted to 18.2 billion US dollars, which is 52.5% higher than in the same period of the previous year (12.0 billion US dollars). Kazakhstan's trade balance has improved.

Exports from Kazakhstan in January-February 2022 increased by 71.4% and amounted to 12.1 billion US dollars.

The export growth is justified by an increase in the supply of crude oil, ferroalloys, uranium, zinc, etc.

Imports to Kazakhstan in January-February 2022 increased by 25.1% and amounted to 6.1 billion US dollars.

The growth of imports is ensured by the import of such goods as wheat, car bodies, computers, copper ores and concentrates, medicines packaged for retail sale, telephones, etc.
