Kazakhstan's mutual trade with EU countries increased by 70%

The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the EU countries in January-February 2022 amounted to $6.0 billion, which is 70.9% higher than in the same period of the previous year ($3.5 billion), according to JSC "QazTrade" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Exports from Kazakhstan to the EU countries in January-February 2022 increased by 84.4% and amounted to $5.2 billion.

Imports to Kazakhstan from EU countries in January-February 2022 increased by 14% and amounted to $767.5 million..

The growth of exports to the EU countries is justified by an increase in the supply of such goods as: crude oil - by 81.2% ($4.6 billion), ferroalloys - an increase of 2.5 p. or (up to $96.3 million), unprocessed aluminum - an increase of 2.5 p. (up to $58.0 million), wheat - an increase of 13.2 p. (up to $31.7 million), petroleum products - by 40.4% (up to $94.6 million), natural gas - an increase of 4.3 p. (up to $35.5 million).
