On measures to curb the prices of CHZPT in the Almaty region

In comparison with the threshold prices, for the 1st quarter of 2022, out of 19 NWT in the Almaty region, there is no excess of price growth over 15%.
In addition, akimats of districts and cities monitor prices in the retail network on a daily basis.In order to meet the needs of districts and cities in the NWPT, applications for the supply of food from the stabilization fund are being accepted. Applications for the supply of 1,500 tons of food were submitted from 14 districts.
Also, currently, contracts have been signed for the shipment of 95.5 tons of food products and 1,000 tons of grade 1 flour are being sold to bakeries of the region with Asiaagrofood JSC at a price of 130 tenge per kg for baking social molded bread.
It is noted that there is no shortage of NWT in the region today and the population's need for food is provided, there are enough stocks for 2-3 months, and for some goods for 6-8 months.
At the same time, JSC "RIR "SEC "Zhetisu" held meetings with producers and trading entities of Aksu and Sarkan and Karatal districts, and memorandums of cooperation were signed within the framework of price containment by participating in concessional financing at 0.01% per annum for the supply of food products at fixed prices.
A number of meetings were held with suppliers of Magnum Cash&Carry LLP, Small&Skif LLP, Sabyrzhan Company LLP and an agreement was reached on cooperation within the framework of price stabilization for NWT.
Moreover, daily, together with the akimat of Taldykorgan, prices are monitored in 8 supermarkets of Magnum, Toymart and Small retail chains in Taldykorgan, as well as in several grocery stores, an agreement was reached with the heads of the chains not to increase and fix food prices at the level of December last year. Since the beginning of 2022, 2 agricultural fairs have been held, at which products totaling 30.0 million tenge were sold at the prices of local agricultural producers.
Recall that the overall inflation rate for the month of December 2021 was 108.2% (RK-108.4%), for food products 109.9% (RK-109.9%), non-food products 108.4% (RK-108.5%), paid services 106.1% (RK-106.5%).
According to the general inflation rate, Almaty region is 0.2% lower than the republican indicator, including food products at the level with the republican indicator, non-food products are 0.1% lower, paid services are 0.4% lower.
